I am deeply honoured to have been awarded an Honorary Fellowship (Hon. FRAIA) by the Australian Institute of Architects. This recognition was awarded in acknowledgment of contributions to high-performance architecture, lower-carbon buildings, and climate-responsive cities through research, innovation, and collaboration with the architectural profession. I have been fortunate to work alongside outstanding colleagues, students, researchers, architects, and industry partners around the world. Any contribution I have made is the result of these collaborations and of a shared commitment to creating healthier, more sustainable, and more resilient cities.
My sincere thanks to the Institute and to everyone who has been part of this journey. I look forward to continuing our collective efforts to address the challenges of climate change and improve the quality of life in our built environment.
