Cooling Parramatta is a web based tool designed to provide information on the specific climatic conditions in the city under the actual and future climatic conditions and land use as well as for several mitigation scenarios

The tool is based on the WRF simulations performed in the frame of the project and incorporates several smart components that help the user to better understand the climatic conditions and assess the real mitigation potential of several technologies. In parallel, it incorporates some innovative features like the possibility to evaluate the peak ambient temperature when the land use is changing, to calculate the average, maximum and minimum temperature of a region, to perform comparisons of the climatic performance of different scenarios, etc

Cooling Parramatta, can be a very useful tool for designers and decision makers to understand the potential of different climatic and landscape options.
